The legendary Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin has one more beauty: the general refurbishment of the Hotel Luc made by Tenbrink was a project of superlatives and a real accolade for all involved. What began as a planned renovation of 70 rooms and 22 suites developed into one of the largest projects in our company’s history. With a construction period of more than 24 months and an average of 100 employees on site (from the Tenbrink team and partner companies), we were able to manage the overall renovation of the hotel across all areas from the basement to the attic despite all the adversities presented by the coronavirus pandemic: water, cooling, ventilation, waste water, smoke extraction, bathroom renovations, emergency power supply, fire protection and building management technology, to name just a few of the many facets.
The interior design concept of the Frankfurt architect Oana Rosen is exactly to our taste. The implementation of individual details that only exist here and nowhere else: this is our hobby horse. We love the complex implementation of diverse project facets that are everything, but not off-the-peg.
