The Staycity aparthotels at Frankfurt Airport are the first large branch of the Irish hotel chain and probably our earliest entry into a project in our company’s history. We were already involved in the selection of the property and stood by our client with advice and experience. As general contractor, we were finally allowed to take on the complete OSE (= operating staff equipment or ‘everything that is loose’) as well as the FF&E (= fixed furniture and equipment), from the specific room kitchens to wall panelling and (how else could it be with an Irish client) greening, furnishing of the lobby and breakfast room, to the pincers for the caretaker and the fork in the restaurant. For a property of this size with 269 apartments, its own laundry, kitchen, and restaurant/breakfast room as well as lobby, the OSE equipment with all the individual parts is a real battle of materials and an ‘all-round carefree’ package for our client.
The Tenbrink team was particularly successful in integrating itself into the specified construction schedule: we were ready on time for every single inspection. Great! And the coordination with the general contractor, who was responsible for the building construction, also worked hand in hand and smoothly. All-round carefree at its best.
